The Eddison SteamRoller

This is how Simon spends some of his spare time !

R.Crumbleholme & Son used to hire plant from Eddison Plant Hire Ltd - a company that started in Dorchester in the late C19th.

Below : Having rebuilt the Eddision Living van and faithfully re-created a water bowser, Simon finally managed to get them all hitched up during the summer of 2021. The Roller is still largely in its original condition - it will be 100 years old in 2022.

This original Eddison Living Van was in a very sorry state when Simon found it. It has faithfully repaired and conserved.
