Our aims and business profile :

We are a locally based building contractor based in Warmwell near Dorchester. We operate within Dorset mainly in the Dorchester, Weymouth and surrounding areas.

We have a long family background in the local construction industry dating from the late 19th century. We strive to build on and maintain this reputation.

We undertake an extensive range of work and over the last decade have completed contracts including new build, complex alterations / extensions and works on Listed Buildings up to an individual value of £300,000. In addition, we also undertake many smaller works and refurbishments in dwellings, commercial buildings and churches.

We have well established relationships with many local architects, structural engineers and surveyors and in turn, good connections with the local authority Building Control, Planning and Listing Building Departments.

We welcome traditional competitive tendering with full plans and specifications. We always fully detail our estimates with full technical specifications and sketch plans where necessary.

Throughout any project whether with and without an architect or surveyor, we maintain close control in quality, programme and costings. This hopefully gives our clients the assurance of a well constructed project with no hidden extra delays or costs.

Helping us to achieve the above aims, we have well established links with good sub contractors when required for plumbing, heating and electrical works as well as other specialised trades.
